Talks between DPRK and Japan Red Cross Societies Held in Beijing
Pyongyang, August 10 (KCNA) -- A press release was issued Friday on the talks held between the Red Cross societies of the DPRK and Japan.

According to it, the DPRK Red Cross Society and the Japan Red Cross Society held talks in Beijing, China on Thursday and Friday.

Present at the talks from the DPRK side were a delegation of the DPRK Red Cross Society led by Secretary General Ri Ho Rim and from the Japanese side a delegation of the Japan Red Cross Society led by Director of its International Department Osamu Tasaka.

The two sides had an in-depth dialogue on the issue of the remains of Japanese in the territory of the DPRK proposed by the Japanese side and deepened the mutual understanding from a humanitarian stand.

They also agreed to have more discussions on the issue in the future, and report issues raised at the talks to their governments.
