Rodong Sinmun U.S. Terrorism against DPRK Bound to Fail

Pyongyang, August 11 (KCNA) -- U.S. terrorism against the DPRK is bound to fail, warns Rodong Sinmun Saturday in a bylined article. Under the backstage wire-pulling of the U.S. the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors hurled traitors to the nation into gruesome terror operations to destroy the inviolable statues symbolic of the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK and its grand monuments only to be discovered, the article notes, and goes on: The U.S. has perpetrated state-sponsored terrorism against the DPRK for years. Finding it hard to frighten the Korean people by force of arms and through sanctions, the U.S. is seeking a way out in committing monstrous state-sponsored terrorism. The U.S. committed countless cases of terrorism against sovereign states. But such hideous and base state-sponsored, politically-motivated terrorism attempted this time is something unprecedented in its aims and methods. International conventions call for branding any international terrorism as a crime and meting out a severe punishment of it. No statute of limitation is applicable to the perpetrators of such international terrorism. The U.S. should be held responsible for manipulating behind the scene such terrorism against the DPRK, make an official apology for it and punish the prime movers. Ant it should give assurances that such terrorism would not repeat itself. Otherwise, the situation will be beyond control and the U.S. will be wholly accountable for this. The U.S. would be well advised to take a responsible approach, properly understanding such will of the DPRK. |
