A letter to the dear respected Kim Jong Un was adopted on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

The chairman of the society said President Kim Il Sung defeated the Japanese imperialists through the hard-fought armed struggle to liberate Korea, a great exploit not only in Korea's history but in the world history.

He said with appreciation that Kim Jong Il visited Siberia and Far Eastern region last year to put the DPRK-Russia friendship on a new higher stage, thereby making a great contribution to the peace of Northeast Asia.

Under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Un, the Korean people have frustrated the vicious aggression moves of the U.S. and the Lee Myung Bak regime of south Korea against the DPRK and made achievements in building a thriving nation as desired by Kim Jong Il.

The chairman stressed the need to strive for Korea's reunification upholding the banner of "By our nation itself" despite the desperate efforts of the anti-reunification forces, and make efforts for the steady development of the DPRK-Russia friendship.
