Condemnation of U.S. and S. Korean Regime's Attempted Hideous Terrorism against DPRK Called for

Pyongyang, August 11 (KCNA) -- Relevant bodies and organizations including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK sent to international bodies, organizations and individual personages including the UN copies of the press release issued at the press conference held with Jon Yong Chol who was arrested after infiltrating into the DPRK to carry out such politically-motivated hideous terrorism as hurting the dignity of the DPRK supreme leadership sponsored by the U.S. and the south Korean puppet regime in violation of international law. The press release was sent on August 7 to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, the Anti-Terror Committee of Security Council of the United Nations and other UN organizations and relevant personages of the UN Office including the UN secretary general and the president of the UN General Assembly. The National Peace Committee of Korea, the Korean Committee for Solidarity with the World People and other organizations sent it on August 2 to 93 international bodies, organizations and individuals of 34 countries including the World Peace Council, the International Anti-Imperialism Coordinating Committee, the International League of People's Struggle and the Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Organization. The press release brought to light the organized and premeditated crimes committed by the U.S. and the puppet regime and requested the international organizations to take appropriate measures for checking them. Earlier, the DPRK Association for Human Rights Studies and the Central Committee of the DPRK Red Cross Society sent a press release to more than 10 UN organizations and NGOs for human rights and 97 NGOs and individuals in more than 20 countries. It was issued at the press conference held with Pak Jong Suk who returned to the DPRK after she was taken to south Korea due to the puppet regime's allurement and abduction operations. |
