Ri Kun Yong has worked heart and soul for scientific research and education for posterity at Kim Chaek University of Technology for decades.

He newly developed several subjects, wrote textbooks, reference books and scientific papers and raised six doctors and many others who took academic degrees or titles.

Ro Yong Gwon successfully sang the popular songs "Thanks to Benefits of Leader" and "Full of Laugh" working as a singer at the KPA Song and Dance Ensemble and the Mansudae Art Troupe.

At an educational organ of the KPA he wrote valuable papers making contributions to the development of arts education. He is now contributing a large share to training future artists.

General secretary Kim Jong Il let them receive high official commendations, highly appreciating their feats, and showed deep loving care for them so that they might take part in several national conferences.
