S. Korea Stricken by Heat

| Pyongyang, August 11 (KCNA) -- More than 1,015,000 livestock such as chicken and duck perished in south Korea for three weeks from July 20 due to the boiling heat that struck south Korea, according to south Korean Broadcasting System. In the meantime, it was reported that sultry heat left rice plants withered away and lots of shellfishes dead in South and North Jolla Provinces. |
