A joint speech meeting of the presidential candidates from "Saenuri Party" was held in Kimchon, North Kyongsang Province on August 9, according to the Christian Broadcasting System (CBS) of south Korea.

One from Park Geun Hye side grabbed Kim Mun Su by the throat even before the meeting started.

Kim Mun Su took the floor with the help of his attendants and spoke ill of Park Geun Hye while praising himself with the presentation of videos comparing his life with Park's.

This sparked sarcasm and abuses from Park Geun Hye side, and some even walked out.

Other candidates are also locked in fierce race of slandering.

The south Korean public was stunned at the melee in the inner "Saenuri Party" which is affected with an inveterate habit of resorting to every means and method to seize power.

The inner conflict has got unabated since it started when discussing the issue of deciding the method of electing candidates.

Dissatisfied with Park's aides holding the responsible posts of the party, several dissident factions of party insisted on their opinions as regards the election method which fuelled discord with Park.

As a result, there has been a row in the party almost every day and the friction culminated in the free-for-all at the meeting.

The "Grand National Party", predecessor of "Saenuri Party", had been accused by the public for the corrupt private life of the candidates as evidenced by the delivery of money envelopes for becoming presidential candidate and representative and holding key posts.

The GNP changed its name to "Saenuri Party" but it could not change the nature of political careerists.

If such guys are allowed to take power, it is clear how the society would become.

The south Korean public assert in unison the future of the "Saenuri Party" locked in power scramble is fixed.
