Foreign Papers Laud Feats of Kim Il Sung in Liberating Korea
Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- Foreign papers devoted articles to the 67th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

The Bangladeshi paper Ekota on August 7 in an article titled "Liberator of Korea" said:

President Kim Il Sung liberated the Korean nation from colonial slavery.

He founded the Korean People's Revolutionary Army on April 25, 1932, enabling the Korean people's struggle to liberate their country to advance by their own armed forces.

The Korean people bravely turned out in the sacred struggle against the Japanese imperialists to accomplish the historic cause of liberating the country under his leadership, looking up to him as the sun of the nation.

The feats of the President who liberated Korea have been cherished in the minds of the Korean people and other progressive peoples.

The Nigerian paper Nigerian Observer on August 6 in an article headed "Legendary Guerrilla" noted:

The President advanced the line of liberating the country by relying on the people's own efforts and waged the hard-fought armed struggle.

He dealt telling blows to the Japanese imperialists and won victories by employing superb strategies and unique guerrilla tactics. His personality as the legendary guerrilla commander will always shine.

The Pakistani paper Baluchistan Times on August 8 also carried a similar article.
