Displayed in the venue of the event were photos showing feats performed by President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in the effort for reunifying the country.

The chairman of the society and other speakers lauded Kim Jong Il for formulating the three principles of national reunification, the ten-point programme of the great unity of the whole nation and the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo as the three charters for national reunification.

They said that the charters serve as the fair and aboveboard proposal suited to the specific conditions of the Korean Peninsula and reflecting the unanimous desire of the Koreans for national reunification.

They expressed conviction that the Korean people will surely achieve the cause of national reunification under the wise leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.
