Rodong Sinmun Accuses S. Korean Regime of Escalating Confrontation of Social Systems

Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- The south Korean conservative group is floating a story about what it called "changes," making a wrong picture of the DPRK from its view on value and way of thinking. It is letting loose a spate of jargons about "reforms" and "multi-faceted exchange and cooperation" as it pleases. It went the lengths of deliberately talking about even the dignified Songun politics of the DPRK. Rodong Sinmun Monday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard: These are nothing but ridiculous remarks made by the political imbeciles who know nothing about the DPRK. The DPRK has so far developed through steady changes, while building a socialist society centered on the popular masses, the commentary notes, and goes on: It is south Korea where stunning changes are expected as it is under the reign of foreign forces and traitors. The south Korean authorities should be aware of their imminent miserable fate before talking about someone's "changes." The fiction about "a sort of change in the north" spread by the south Korean conservative group only brings to light its wild ambition for the confrontation between social systems. Traitor Lee Myung Bak and his group have never told truth about the DPRK. They have malignantly slandered the DPRK, twisting and distorting everything and vociferating about "its human rights performance". The nonsense talked by them about "changes in the north" goes to prove what ridiculous daydreams they have. Duties, strategies and methods of struggle may change in the progress of the revolution. But there can be no change in the DPRK's strategic line. The south Korean authorities would be well advised to awake from their daydream. Unshakable is the revolutionary stand of the DPRK to accomplish the cause of building a thriving socialist nation, taking Kim Jong Il's patriotism as a treasured sword. |
