Minju Joson Tuesday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:

This is nothing but a disgusting ruckus staged by sleep walkers keen on "unification under liberal democracy" and "unification through absorption".

The badge of "unification jar" is, in fact, the one for confrontation of the social systems and confrontation with fellow countrymen.

"Unification jar" is a version of "tax for unification" rejected by the people. The minions of the ministry have forced the people to donate money from late June after placing six "unification jars" here and there. Traitor Lee Myung Bak staged such a poor drama as dedicating his salary for one month, jabbering he "is donating a large amount of money" but things did not turn out as he had expected.

In order to put such situation under control, the ministry produced 1 000 badges of "unification jar" in a great haste and distributed them to Lee, "Prime Minister" Kim Hwang Sik and ministers before anyone else. It is trumpeting that it would distribute the badges to staff members of the ministry and those who took the lead in donating money. This is, however, nothing but a crafty artifice to collect money needed for confrontation of the social systems from more people.

Such ruckus orchestrated by the puppet regime is an undisguised challenge to the nation. It is just a ridiculous racket to conceal the total fiasco of its "policy toward the north" and prolong its remaining days through such confrontation.

This is, however, a pipedream.
