On display in its venue were works of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and books, photos and art works showing the true picture of Songun Korea.

The participants placed a floral basket before portraits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The minister of Culture of the Irkutsk Regional Government and other speakers said they were pleased to open a DPRK book, photo and fine art exhibition with splendor to mark the first anniversary of Kim Jong Il's historic visit to the Siberian and Far Eastern regions.

Referring to the significance of the exhibition, they expressed belief that the traditional friendly and cooperative relations between the peoples of the DPRK and Russia would grow stronger.
