He founded the Anti-Japanese People's Guerilla Army in April 1932 to develop the national liberation struggle of the Korean people to a fresh higher level.

He put forth an original military idea to overpower the superiorities in number and military technique of the enemies by means of superiorities in political ideology as well as in strategy and tactics, thus wisely leading the rigorous anti-Japanese armed struggle with his outstanding commanding arts.

The national liberation struggle of the Korean people was concluded at last on August 15, 1945 with their brilliant victory.

The feats of Kim Il Sung, a lodestar of the Korean nation's liberation, will shine long with the world history of the national liberation struggle in colonial countries.

The director of a Singaporean company said after watching a film impressively showing the Korean people enjoying boundless honor and happiness under the care of the peerlessly great persons:
