The organizations branded the military agreement which the Lee Myung Bak regime is trying to sign with Japan as a dangerous one bringing the dark clouds of war to hang over this land.

Intolerable is the agreement as its contracting party will be Japan which justifies its colonial rule over Korea in the past and refuses to abandon its militarist ambition through the distortion of history textbooks and "claim to Tok Islets", they noted, and went on:

As a war criminal state Japan has not yet made any apology and reparation. Moves to conclude a military agreement with it are little short of shutting eyes to its past crimes and paving the way for its reinvasion.

The attitude taken by the authorities in the relations with Japan during the tenure of their office brought into bolder relief the true colors of the present regime steeped in sycophancy towards the U.S. and Japan to the marrow of its bones.

The organizations strongly demanded the authorities scrap the agreement.
