The works comprehensively deal with characteristics and mission of the Korean youth movement and its main duty and revolutionary principle and other issues to be settled for steadily developing it.

The works "On Improving the Work of the Youth League to Meet the Requirements of the Developing Situation" and "On Further Strengthening Education in Revolutionary Traditions among Young People and Children" published by him in the 1960s serve as important documents for bringing about a turn in putting the Korean youth movement on a fresh higher stage.

"On Some Tasks Facing the League of Socialist Working Youth at Present", "Let Us Inspire the Young People with the Spirit of Continuous Revolution" and other works comprehensively deal with tasks and ways for the young people to play a pioneer's role in all fields and at all units of socialist construction.

He authored "On Further Strengthening the Party Guidance to the Young People and Children", "The Present Times and the Tasks Facing Young People", "It Is Necessary to Strengthen the Work with Young People" and other works in the 1980s when the Korean youth turned out in the drive to carry out the decision of the 6th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea. They clarify all the issues for youth work including the matters of intensifying the party's leadership for young people, firmly building up the youth league ranks and increasing the function and role of primary organizations, basic organizations of the youth league.

In "On Mission and Duty of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League" and other works in the 1990s he clarified the final goal of the Korean youth movement and the basic mission of the youth league to successfully accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche started by President Kim Il Sung generation after generation.
