A renaming ceremony was held in Mexico City on August 13.

President of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism Ramon Jimenez Lopez, who is also president of the Mexican National Coordinating Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, made a report to be followed by speeches.

Speakers said it was a great honor for them to rename the committee.

They referred to the exploits performed by the dear respected Kim Jong Un who declared the Juche idea, the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung, as Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, adding it is the guiding idea for the victorious advance of the revolutionary cause of Juche and the cause of global independence.

They renewed their determination to study and disseminate Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism as required by the actual conditions of Mexico and extend full support to the Korean people in their struggle for building a thriving socialist nation and reunifying the country.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the ceremony.

Present at the ceremony were personages of the Mexican National Coordinating Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism and the Mexican Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea.

The DPRK ambassador to Mexico and staff members of his embassy were present there on invitation.
