Chinese Paper Hopes for Ever-lasting Sino-DPRK Friendship

Pyongyang, August 23 (KCNA) -- The August 17th issue of Liaoning Josonmunbo in China carried an article titled "May Sino-DPRK Friendship last forever". The paper said that war veterans of the Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) visited the DPRK and spent happy days unforgettable in their lifetime on the occasion of the 59th anniversary of the victory of the Korean people in the Fatherland Liberation War, referring to the their visit to the Friendship Tower and the cemeteries of fallen fighters of the CPV. The war veterans were deeply moved by the fact that the DPRK government and its people have always taken good care of the cemeteries of the fallen fighters of the CPV for decades. This was an expression of sincere love shown by the Korean people for the Chinese people and the CPV, the paper said, and went on: During their visit to the DPRK the veterans were pleased to witness the brilliant achievements made by the Korean people under the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung and General Kim Jong Il and the appearance of the DPRK developing as the days go by. They were greatly inspired by all Korean people making a dynamic advance for building a thriving socialist nation, single-mindedly united around their supreme leader Kim Jong Un in his era, in particular. The paper hoped for ever-lasting Sino-DPRK friendship. |
