Alberto Anaya Gutierrez, coordinator of the National Coordinating Committee of the Workers' Party of Mexico, said that Kim Jong Il firmly defended Korean-style socialism by pursuing Songun politics.

The Songun politics serves as a banner of struggle for those countries desirous of independence against imperialism, he added.

Thongbanh Seng A Phone, head of the delegation of the Ministry of Public Security of Laos, said that Kim Jong Il provided the DPRK with strong military power, adding that the country is shining as an invincible bulwark of socialism thanks to its strong army.

The countries aspiring after independence should learn from the Songun politics and the exploits performed by Kim Jong Il for strengthening the military muscle will last forever, he stressed.

Gyula Thurmer, head of a delegation of the Hungarian Communist Workers' Party, said that Kim Jong Il put the dignity of the Korean nation on the highest level and the DPRK could create the history of victory and glory under his leadership.

Abdullatif Oumran, general director of the Syrian Paper Al Baath, said that the Songun politics pursued by Kim Jong Il gives confidence and courage to the people of the countries aspiring after independence, peace and socialism.

Martin Lotscher, chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee, said that Kim Jong Il was a peerless statesman and great defender of the cause of socialism, adding the progressive people highly praise him as a great brilliant Songun commander.
