With readiness to take upon themselves both the defence of the country and socialist construction, they have built many edifices in recent years, creating a high speed in construction.

Their energetic efforts led to the construction of the Huichon Power Station, a representative edifice in the Songun (military-first) era, and the greenhouse under the Bioengineering Branch of the State Academy of Sciences.

They splendidly built the Exhibition of Arms and Equipment of the Korean People's Army, which showcases the undying feats President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il performed in leading the Songun revolution as well as the development of self-reliant defense industry.

They also took part in the construction of modern high-rise apartment buildings, skyscrapers, the People's Theatre and stylish restaurants in Changjon Street and dolphin aquarium, wading pool and funfair on scenic Rungna Island in Pyongyang in a short span of time.

They are now giving the final touch to the projects of the Ryugyong Health Complex, People's Open-Air Ice Rink, Sporting Centre in Thongil Street, Breast Cancer Institute of the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital and Pyongyang Folk Park.

Such edifices can be built only by the DPRK servicepersons, who take as their faith Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un's noble outlook on the people and the future.
