It spotlights the decision of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly on awarding the title of DPRK Marshal to Kim Jong Un.

Given in the magazine is an account of the rally held by the association to congratulate him on receiving the title.

It carries the full text of the congratulatory message he sent to the participants in the meeting of officials of chapters of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan.

It runs news that the association and its affiliated bodies held meetings to remember President Kim Il Sung on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of his demise.

Conveyed in the magazine is news that floral baskets and bunches of flowers were laid before the statue of the President in Jilin Yuwen High School and his portrait in the Dandong branch of the DPRK consulate general in Shenyang on the occasion.

It gives accounts of a joint forum of Koreans in the north and the south and abroad to mark the 40th anniversary of the July 4 joint statement and the round-table talks with war veterans who fought in the Korean front as members of the Chinese People's Volunteers on the occasion of the 59th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

It also runs a statement issued by a spokesman for the National Peace Committee of Korea condemning the moves to ink a military agreement between south Korea and Japan.

It says that the association and the bodies under it released statements denouncing the Lee Myung Bak regime of south Korea for suppressing the vice-chairman of the South Headquarters of the Pan-National Alliance for Korea's Reunification and resorting to subversive and sabotage actions against the DPRK in collaboration with the U.S.

It notes that south Korean social bodies grouping people from all walks of life started an all-people signature campaign for checking the conclusion of the agreement.
