Ringing out from every worksite are loud voices of youth evincing their resolution to fully display the heroic spirit of the Korean youth in the sacred battle fields, holding arms in their hands.

Hong Kwang Ryong, vice-chairman of the North Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, declared that all youth of the country would mete out a merciless punishment to the U.S imperialists and the south Korean puppet regime with arms of the revolution.

Kim Ji Yong, farmer of the Jangsan Co-op Farm in Ryongchon County, said, proud of becoming a soldier standing guard over the post for defending the country as he desired:

"We have waited for the day we will don uniforms of the revolution and turn out to wipe out the U.S imperialists and the rat-like Myung Bak group, the foes of reunification and root cause of the confrontation with compatriots. We are filled with the will and determination to mercilessly wipe out the enemies who dared hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK."

Similar voices of young people are heard from Cholsan Hill of the Musan Mining Complex.

"It is the unique mettle of the service personnel and people of the DPRK to counter the enemies' provocation with a severe punishment and react to a war with a fierce retaliatory war", young people from there stated, adding "All service personnel and people will blow up at one strike the citadel of the enemy through a merciless all-people sacred war."

Among the young people who volunteered to join the KPA in hearty response to the order of the Supreme Commander were many officials of the Tongdaewon District Committee of Pyongyang City of the youth league, young people from the Taedonggang Power Station, the Ryongchon Co-op Farm in Samchon County and other organs, industrial establishments and farms across the country.
