Servicepersons Ready for Sacred War

Pyongyang, August 27 (KCNA) -- Tension on the Korean Peninsula has been on the rise, due to the Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercises kicked off by the U.S. and south Korean puppet regime. Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Un, during his recent inspection tour of island defence detachments stationed in the biggest hotspot in the southernmost part of the southwest front, ordered the servicepersons to deal at once deadly counter-blows at the enemy if even a single shell is dropped on the waters or in the territory of the DPRK and lead the battle to a sacred war for national reunification. Inspired by his order, DPRK servicepersons are in high spirits to react to a possible provocation of the U.S. and the south Korean regime with a sacred war for national reunification. Ju Yong Min, an officer of the Air and Anti-air Forces of the Korean People's Army, told KCNA: "Once a sacred war for national reunification is launched, we will strike the White House and Chongwadae as well. The world will witness the miserable end of the disturbers of peace." Sin Chol Hyok, an officer of the Strategic Rocket Force of the KPA, said: "The military exercises indicate that the U.S. and the Lee Myung Bak regime of south Korea are wreckers of peace and security of the Korean Peninsula. A preemptive attack is by no means an exclusive choice of one side. It is a traditional mode and militant spirit peculiar to the KPA to return fire for fire and react to tough policy with tougher policy. We are ready to show our forces' might." Yu Song Il, a 22-year-old student of Kim Il Sung University, said: "Upon hearing the Supreme Commander's order given to the servicepersons, I petitioned to be allowed to join the army. We, students, have grown under the deep care of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il. Military service is what we should undergo at this juncture. If the U.S. forces and the Lee's group dare ignite a war on this land, we will fight for national reunification." |
