The song is heard nowadays everywhere throughout the country.

It reflects the people's gratitude for and trust in the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), which has led the Korean revolution only to victory under the banner of Juche without slightest vacillation and deviation in policies, responsible for the destiny of popular masses.

It also represents their will to win a final victory in the efforts for accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche, the cause of socialism under the WPK flag.

The WPK, founded by President Kim Il Sung and developed by leader Kim Jong Il, is winning victory after victory under the seasoned leadership of respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Thanks to the correct leadership of the WPK, the Korean people defeated U.S. imperialism in the Korean War (June 1950-July 1953) and successfully carried out two-phase social revolution and are pressing ahead with socialist construction for building a thriving nation.

A Pyongyang citizen, Jong Jin Sok, 30, told KCNA:

　"Through our daily life we have felt that we will surely win if we go along the road indicated by the WPK. The song mirrors such feelings of our people".
