The statement bitterly condemned in the name of Juche idea followers of Democratic Congo the provocative Ulji Freedom Guardian (UFG) joint military exercises being staged by the U.S. and the south Korean regime to wreck peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.

This saber-rattling was prompted by a foolish daydream to lay a stumbling block in the way of socialist Korea prospering day by day under the wise leadership of the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, it said, adding: This let the world know well that the U.S. is chiefly to blame for harassing peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.

Expressing full support to the measures taken by the DPRK to cope with UFG, the statement went on:

The U.S. and south Korean puppet regime should stop at once the belligerent and provocative UFG as it destroys peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.

The U.S. should withdraw its aggression forces from south Korea without any condition for the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea.

The Lee regime, which denies the spirit for national independence and escalates confrontation with fellow countrymen, should immediately step down.
