The floor was taken by Jon Yong Nam, chairman of the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League.

The speaker said the dear respected Kim Jong Un provided the meeting for 152 delegates marking their birthdays during the celebration period though he was busy with inspection tours of army units for defending the country.

Kim Jong Un sent a congratulatory message to the participants in the meeting for celebrating Youth Day and other youth across the country to instill loyalty and patriotism into their minds and saw to it that delegates were accorded the best treatment to be remembered all their life during the celebration period, he noted.

He called upon the young people to devotedly defend Kim Jong Un and carry forward and accomplish the socialist cause of Juche by having a tight hold on the baton of the revolution.

He also called upon them to give fuller play to the bravery, unity and militancy in every site for great surge to carry out the tasks set forth in the congratulatory message sent by Kim Jong Un.
