The president in his message extended on behalf of the Zimbabwean government and people and on his own behalf the warmest congratulations to Kim Jong Un and, through him, to the government and people of the DPRK on the 64th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

Joining Your Excellency in celebrating the founding day of your glorious country, I am pleased to look back on the excellent relations between our two countries, he noted, adding:

Satisfied with our common views on international issues, I would like to hope for the strengthened bilateral ties of cooperation in standing against the hostile forces keen to violate our legitimate rights to the development of our two countries.

It is my sincere hope that our two countries will steadily develop the bilateral relations of economic cooperation for the improvement of the living standard of the two peoples.
