Watching the video on the West Sea Barrage successfully built by the army and people of the DPRK by damming off 8 km-long rough sea waters, they enjoyed a bird's-eye view of the barrage from the observation platform.

After the end of the visit, the ambassador said:

The army and the people of the DPRK successfully built the grand monumental edifice in a short span of time under the wise guidance of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

The visit offered an opportunity to us to know better about their greatness.

The achievements made by the Korean people in the gigantic nature-remaking are a model to be followed by the Cuban people.

I wish the West Sea Barrage would greatly contribute to the wellbeing of the Korean people.
