An event took place at the district office on August 26 to convey the certificate of title of honorary citizen, city key and a note explaining the key, citizen medal and a decision of the district office council on awarding the title to Kim Jong Un.

The governor of the district made a speech.

He said on behalf of the members of the district office and all inhabitants in the district he was paying highest tribute to Marshal Kim Jong Un who has made a great contribution to progress and prosperity of mankind and world peace and stability, carrying forward the intention of Generalissimo Kim Jong Il who developed the DPRK into a powerful country and paid deep attention to developing the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries.

It is the pleasure and honor of all of them to register Kim Jong Un as an honorary citizen, he said, expressing conviction that the Korean people would register greater successes in building a thriving nation under his wise leadership.

The certificate of title of honorary citizen, city key and a note explaining the key, citizen medal and the above-said decision was conveyed to the DPRK ambassador to Peru.

The decision said it is great pleasure to confer the title of honorary citizen, city key and citizen medal of Brena District, Lima City, Peru upon Kim Jong Un, the supreme leader of the DPRK, who has devoted himself to progress and lasting peace of the Korean nation and mankind by carrying forward Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and thus achieved friendship and solidarity among the world people.

Seen on the certificate are the flag of the DPRK and the logo of Brena District and the city key bears the logo of the district and the name of the district governor and the citizen medal the logo of the district and letters "Citizen Medal of Brena District".

Inscribed on the certificate and the note explaining the key is a decision on awarding the certificate to Kim Jong Un.
