Present there were ministers and government delegates of 120 non-aligned countries including the DPRK.

The meeting discussed pending issues arising in achieving global peace and stability including the Palestinian issue and matters of opposing the monopoly of the U.S.-dominated international financial bodies and realizing the multi-polarization of the world.

Documents to be presented to the summit were adopted there.

A meeting of high-level working officials for the preparation of the summit took place on August 26 and 27.
