The head of the Kim Il Sung Agricultural Science Research Institute said in his lecture entitled "The 21st Century and Songun Idea":

Kim Jong Il, together with President Kim Il Sung, wisely led socialist construction of the DPRK from long ago.

The Songun Policy was established as the basic political mode under socialism by his energetic field inspection of the front for defending the destiny of the country and nation.

The Songun policy has greatly inspired the anti-imperialist independent forces of the world and helped humankind have confidence and optimism about the future of the cause of independence in the new century.

The secretary general of the Association of Kimilsungia and Kimjongilia said in his lecture leader Kim Jong Il of the DPRK illuminated the way of humankind just as the sun shines the world.

The DPRK is meeting the imperialists' strong arm diplomacy based on law of jungle with its Songun diplomacy based on powerful war deterrent, thus safeguarding the sovereignty and dignity of the country and leading the struggle of the progressive countries and people for global independence, the secretary general said.

The participants in DPRK film show in a hospital watched the military parade for celebration of the 100th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung. They said they came to well know about the strong military capacity of the DPRK through military parade and the modern arms and equipment, adding the Korean People's Army led by Marshal Kim Jong Un is a matchless army.
