Taken part in the event were figures of Peruvian solidarity and friendship organizations with the DPRK including the Peruvian-Korean Institute of Culture and Friendship, General Kim Jong Il Peruvian Amicable Institute, Kim Jong Suk Library of Peru and Peruvian Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea and masses.

Invited there were the DPRK ambassador to Peru and the staff members of the DPRK embassy in the country.

Yuri Cesar Castro Romero, secretary general of the Peruvian-Korean Institute of Culture and Friendship, and other speakers lauded the immortal feats President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il performed for the Korean revolution and human cause of independence.

As the DPRK is led by the dear respected Kim Jong Un, it could become a beacon of hope for the world progressives aspiring after the world peace and stability, they said, elaborating on successes made in the development of relations with the DPRK.

They paid profound homage to the great men of Mt. Paektu who always showed great interest in the development of the friendly ties between the DPRK and Peruvian people, and extended thanks to Kim Jong Un leading the efforts for global independence against imperialism.
