This is the backdrop against which the movement was emerged which took up organized form over years.

The movement has won victory after victory for decades as it has firmly preserved the idea and fundamental principle of independence against imperialism.

Confrontation between forces standing for war and aggression and those forces hoping for peace against aggression has escalated on the international arena.

As long as the imperialists' high-handed and arbitrary practices and unilateralism are allowed in the world, it will be impossible to realize the desire of mankind for independence and peace.

NAM should uphold the banner of independence against imperialism and wage dynamic actions to achieve its sacred cause.
