At the rally speakers accused an enterprise in Ansan of hurling gangsters into violence against workers demanding the guarantee of their vital rights and sacked them. One month has passed since then but they are now allowed to go back to the enterprise, they charged, deploring similar violence is taking place at various worksites.

They declared they would never tolerate such violence by capitalists.

All the unionists under the KCTU and other people will get united and stage positive actions to have the situation settled.

At the end of the rally the participants rushed to the enterprise which had expelled the workers and staged a protest.

The police frantically suppressed the protesters, spraying tear liquid, but they offered stubborn resistance, cutting off wire entanglements around the enterprise.
