It gives me pleasure to send on behalf of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the government and people of Laos and on my own behalf warm congratulations and best wishes to you and, through you, to the Workers' Party of Korea, the DPRK government and all fraternal Korean people on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the DPRK.

Very pleased that the good and traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between Laos and the DPRK are growing stronger on a new high stage, I would like to express belief that such relations would develop day by day in conformity with the interests of our two peoples and peace, stability and cooperation of the region and the world.

I, availing myself of this happy occasion, would like to wish you good health and happiness and steady new greater victory in the noble cause of leading the defence and building of socialism in the DPRK and the struggle for achieving the peaceful reunification of Korea.
