Kim in the message expressed his deep thanks to the president, government and people of Iran for warmly welcoming him and according hospitality.

Kim noted that he was deeply impressed to witness the fresh successes the government and people of Iran have made in all fields including politics, economy, science and technology and national defence, meeting all sorts of challenges and ordeals.

He believed that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries would grow stronger by the common efforts of the two countries, expressing satisfaction over the fact that he and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made an open-minded exchange of views on the matters of mutual concern and further deepened the understanding and friendship during the meeting.

He wished the president, government and people of Iran greater success in their work for building a strong Islamic state, sincerely hoping for good health and happiness of the president.
