National Martial Arts Championship Opens

| Pyongyang, September 4 (KCNA) -- The 7th National Martial Arts Championship for September 10 Prize was opened with due ceremony at the Taekwon-do Hall on Tuesday. The championship brought together at least 500 male and female players from 14 units including Taekwon-do teams in Pyongyang and all provinces. They will compete in Taekwon-do, go and Korean wrestling events. Present at the opening ceremony were Ri Yong Su, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, players and school youth and students. Kim Kyong Ho, chairman of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee, made an opening address. |
