DPRK's Educational System Introduced by Foreign Media

Pyongyang, September 5 (KCNA) -- Internet homepages and paper of foreign countries carried articles between August 24 and 26 on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung's work "Theses on Socialist Education". The work, published on September 5, 1977, clarifies the fundamental principles of socialist pedagogy, the content and methods of socialist education as well as the orientation and ways for successfully developing socialist education. Internet homepage of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea said the education system of the DPRK has developed into the most advantageous and advanced education system after the release of the theses on education. It went on: Students and children of the DPRK won victory after victory at international mathematics Olympiad and other world academic contests and international concours in recent years, proof of the high level of education in the DPRK. The higher education system is also in place in the DPRK. Students are studying free of charge, even receiving scholarship, at universities and colleges which are equipped with all conditions. The study-while-working education system including factory and farm colleges teaches basic science and technology and specialized technologies to working people in vocations. A travel company of Germany posted on its Internet homepage the following article: Manpower trained by the socialist education of the DPRK has become good assets for building a thriving nation. The DPRK is making a leaping advance in building a thriving nation. This is a brilliant fruition of the theses on socialist education. The Nepali paper Arpan under the title "The Juche idea and development of science and technology" introduced the rapidly developing science and technology of the DPRK. |
