It is run by the Rason Baidahuang Friendship Agricultural Company, which was established under an agreement of Rason City's relevant institution and China's Baidahuang Group.

The center, jointly operated by Korean and Chinese agro-technicians and workers, cultivates 560 hectares of cropland, majoring in rice farming.

It has rice seedling cultivation hothouses covering 6.7 hectares, 400 square meters each. Various species of vegetables, including tomato, cucumber and eggplant, are also grown in hothouses.

All the hothouses are designed in a way to easily adjust sunshine, indoor temperature and watering.

The center is highly appreciated for its efficient farming method.
