Ex-Chinese Ambassador Visits Mangyongdae

Pyongyang, September 6 (KCNA) -- Ex-Chinese Ambassador to the DPRK Wan Yongxiang and his party visited Mangyongdae. At the old home where President Kim Il Sung was born and spent his childhood, nurturing his ardent will for revolution, the guests looked round relics there, being briefed on the time-honored house. They also went round the revolutionary sites on Mangyong Hill. Wan Yongxiang said: The President was born in a patriotic and revolutionary family. All its members dedicated themselves to the liberation of Korea. He was not only the leader of the Korean people but also a close friend of the Chinese people. The Chinese people deep revere him. They will always remember Mangyongdae. In the meantime, the guests visited the Tower of the Juche Idea, Museum of Arms and Equipment of the Korean People's Army, Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm and other places and enjoyed the grand gymnastic and artistic performance "Arirang". |
