The September issue of the Russian newspaper Serp I Molot carried an article titled "The Democratic People's Republic of Korea was founded on September 9, 1948."

Referring to the foundation of the DPRK by Kim Il Sung, the article said:

He was the nation's benefactor who liberated Korea from the yoke of the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule.

He was the great general who defeated the U.S. and its satellite forces in the Fatherland Liberation War.

The paper introduced the DPRK which was turned into a socialist state centered on the popular masses under the leadership of the peerlessly great persons.

The Nepalese newspaper Ostito on Aug. 31 said that Kim Il Sung liberated the country through a hard-fought revolutionary struggle and built a prosperous country and leader Kim Jong Il devoted all his efforts to turn the DPRK into a thriving nation, adding the ideas and cause of the preceding leaders have been successfully carried forward by Marshal Kim Jong Un at present.

The September 1st issue of the Bangladeshi paper Ekota in an article titled the "Exploits of President Kim Il Sung in the nation-building" said that his feats in nation-building will shine forever.
