Nano-fiber Developed in DPRK

Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- The 12th national exhibition of inventions and new technologies was held in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea some days ago. Among the exhibits was antibiotic nano-fiber, developed by Kim Chaek University of Technology. The fiber is suitable to making such sterilized products as white gown, surgical robe and gloves. Applied in foodstuff factories and health services, it was found to have high antibiosis, with no adverse effect on human body. The fiber, woven by the Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill, has been put into use at the Pyongyang Cornstarch Factory and the Pyongyang Beer Factory. |
