U.S. Nuclear Crimes Censured by British Organizations

Pyongyang, September 8 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association released a joint statement on August 30 in connection with the disclosure of the fact that the U.S. imperialists cooked up a criminal scheme to use nuclear weapons against Koreans during the past Fatherland Liberation War.

According to the recently declassified April 20, 1951 report worked out by the FBI, the U.S. imperialists, unable to bring down the heroic Korean People's Army in the past Korean war by dint of military muscle and technological advantages, cooked up the base plan to create a "no-man area", a death area prohibiting access by anyone, by spraying a huge quantity of radioactive materials in order to arrest the re-advance of the KPA and divide the Korean Peninsula into two, the statement recalled.

This is the thrice-cursed war criminal act as atrocious as the U.S. imperialists' use of bio-chemical weapons and massacres in Sinchon during the Korean war, it said.

The above-said crimes prove that the U.S. is, indeed, a criminal and a terrorist nation, it noted, adding the U.S. imperialists are the chieftain of world imperialism, wrecker of world peace, violator of national sovereignty and sworn enemy of the Korean people and humankind.

It demanded the U.S. apologize for the crimes it committed in Korea and withdraw its forces from south Korea.

The grave provocation of the U.S. staging the ceaseless military exercises targeted against the DPRK proves how just it was when it decided to continue bolstering its nuclear deterrent, the statement concluded.
