Korean People Make Change: Ex-Chinese Ambassador to DPRK
Pyongyang, September 8 (KCNA) -- Wan Yongxiang, ex-Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, expressed his impression as follows after witnessing Korean people's struggle for building a thriving nation:

We laid a floral basket before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill.

The President was born in a simple thatched house and devoted his all for the country and people.

He made a great contribution to protecting global peace.

The Korean people are successfully realizing his behests.

They overcame difficulties and struggled for the hopeful tomorrow despite. They are stepping up the building of a thriving nation by displaying tremendous mentality, firmly united around the leader.

In that period they made great success in various fields.

The DPRK is proud of its might as a socialist power today.

I was deeply impressed by the Pyongyang streets that have changed beyond recognition and faces of Korean people full of vigor.

The Korean people are creating great changes with mighty of single-minded unity.

All the successes in the DPRK are a fruition of the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.

I hope that they will achieve greater success under the wise leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

Referring to the development of the DPRK-China friendly relations he went on:

Kim Il Sung together with the revolutionaries of the elder generations of China including Chairman Mao Zedong and Premier Zhou Enlai provided China-DPRK relations of friendship.

The Chinese people are deeply admiring him.

The relations have steadily developed under the great concern of Kim Jong Il.

The feats performed by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il will shine forever.

We will make positive efforts to further develop the traditional friendship with the DPRK in the future, too.
