They included the Standing Council of the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan, Central Standing Committee of the Korean Youth League in Japan, Central Standing Committee of the Korean Democratic Women's Union in Japan, Central Standing Management Board of the Korean Youth Commercial Association in Japan, Central Standing Committee of the Union of Korean Teachers and School Clerks in Japan, Central Standing Council of the Union of Korean Central Educational Association in Japan, Central Standing Council of the Korean Social Scientists Association in Japan, Standing Council of the Standing Council of the Korean Amateur Athletes Federation in Japan, Central Standing Council of the Korean Medical Association in Japan, Central Standing Committee of the Korean Students Union in Japan, Association of Koreans in Japan for Peaceful Reunification, the Central Standing Council of the Korean Human Rights Federation in Japan and other central organizations of Chongryon and

organizations under it.

They also included such enterprises as the Choson Sinbo Company, Korean News Service, Hagu Bookshop, Kumgang-san Opera Troupe, Tonghae Ltd., Korean Goods Sales Company, Committee for Promoting Korea-Japan Economic Exchange, Federation of Joint Economic Venture of Korean Residents in Japan, Center for Consulting Marriage of Korean Youth in Japan, Korean Publishing House as well as each local headquarters of Chongryon, Joson University and Korean schools at all levels in Japan.

The messages and letters paid highest respects to President Kim Il Sung who founded the DPRK and to leader Kim Jong Il who turned it into a powerful socialist country and extended the highest glory and warmest congratulations to Marshal Kim Jong Un who sent a historic congratulatory message to the Conference of the Officials of Chongryon Chapters despite pressure of work, on the 64th anniversary of the DPRK.

The messages and letters said they were greatly encouraged by sacred image of Kim Jong Un who beat back the imperialists' tenacious moves to stifle the DPRK with the might of Songun, true to the cause of the preceding leaders, and who is wisely leading the country along the road of prosperity and the officials of Chongryon and Korean residents in Japan only to victory and glory.

They said the foundation of the DPRK was a historic event that made the Koreans in Japan, who had lived in sorrow as members of a stateless nation, dignified and proud overseas citizens of the DPRK.

The officials of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan are renewing their will to turn out in the drive of setting an example of patriotic movement for a new heyday in order to advance the movement of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan straight along the road of Juche and patriotism, they added.
