Pyongyang, September 10 (KCNA) -- The vice-minister of Unification of south Korea was reported recently to have talked nonsense at a seminar at the "National Assembly" that "the north's nuclear development and military provocations weakened the public support for the south-north economic cooperation". He cried out for the "north's sincere attitude," talking about "a new groundwork for south-north relations". Rodong Sinmun Monday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard: What he uttered is nothing but sophism that can be let loose only by the south Korean "government" authorities who are accustomed to make profound confusion of right and wrong and incite confrontation. The commentary cites facts to prove how these confrontation maniacs brought the north-south relations to a total collapse and aggravated the situation on the Korean Peninsula to the worst phase of tension. The south Korean regime is not a partner for cooperation with the DPRK but a criminal to be severely punished, the commentary notes, adding: The Lee regime, which worked hard to realize its dream of invading the DPRK in reliance on foreign forces is now busy passing the buck for the frozen north-south relations to others, taken aback by the determination of the army and people of the DPRK to blow up the dens of crimes and settle accounts with it through a great war for national reunification. No matter how desperately the Lee regime may try to save its totally bankrupt policy of confrontation and get rid of the abyss of ruin, it will get it nowhere. The regime would be well advised to stop talking nonsense and wait for a severe judgment by history. |
