Pyongyang, September 10 (KCNA) -- Song "I Will Remain Your Son Forever", a theme song of Korean feature film "Don't Wait for Us" created in Juche 73 (1984), is nowadays popular among the people in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, inspiring them to fully display Kim Jong Il's patriotism. The song depicts the motherland as a tree and a throbbing heart, and one's own body as a leaf in the tree and a drop of blood in the heart. It emotionally sings of the self-sacrificing spirit of the airmen of the Korean People's Army, who drove their planes into the enemies' warships, leaving the words "Don't wait for us", in the period of the Fatherland Liberation War (1950-1953). With this song the Korean army and people have devoted themselves to the drive for brining a heyday of national prosperity. By dint of the self-sacrificing spirit, they put the nation's industry on a CNC basis and built many edifices of eternal value throughout the country in a short span of time, including the Taegyedo Tideland, Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm, Mansudae and Changjon streets and Rungna People's Pleasure Park. The song will as ever encourage them to fully display a strong sense of patriotism in the general onward movement for building a thriving socialist nation. |
