The president in the message extended congratulations and hearty salute to Kim Jong Un and, through him, to the DPRK government and people on behalf of the Kenyan government and people and on his own behalf.

The president said he was satisfied with the fact that the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries have steadily grown.

He expressed belief that the bonds of friendship and understanding would expand in the mutual interests of the peoples of the two countries, while celebrating the significant day with the government and people of the DPRK.

He wished Kim Jong Un good health and the people of the DPRK prosperity.
