In the message the National Council of the CPI sent a warm fraternal salute to Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the DPRK.

The founding of the DPRK marked a significant event in the history of the liberation movement, the message said, and went on:

Under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung, the WPK played a pivotal role in founding the DPRK, a socialist state.

The revolutionary cause of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il is encouraging the Korean people and the peoples of all other countries in their struggle to bring about revolutionary changes.

It is the hope of the peoples in the world that the cause would be invariably carried forward in the DPRK.

The message expressed conviction that the DPRK would further consolidate socialism, foiling all plots of the imperialists and firmly adhering to the stand for peaceful reunification under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

It reiterated support to him in building a modern socialist country on that happy occasion.

It offered a revolutionary salute to him.
