|
Pyongyang, September 12 (KCNA) -- The Finland-Korea Society posted on its Internet homepage on Aug. 28 an article introducing the arts development in the DPRK illustrated with a photo of the dear respected Kim Jong Un. The performances given by the Moranbong Band recently showcased a high level of the development of Korean arts, the article said, and went on: The Moranbong Band personally guided by Kim Jong Un played very well famous world music pieces along with Korean songs on the stage. The cultural and social life made a rapid progress in the DPRK on the basis of the Juche idea, its guiding idea. The literary and artistic revolutions which took place in the 1970s under the energetic guidance of leader Kim Jong Il put strong spurs to modeling all members of society on the Juche idea and literature and arts played a great role in foiling the imperialists' moves to stifle the DPRK during the Arduous March, the forced march. The scenes showing the band performances represent the appearance of the prospering DPRK, a bright image of the Korean people full of optimism, joy and happiness and a true picture of triumphant socialist Korea. |
