Present at the ceremony were Choe Thae Bok, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, teachers and researchers.

Also present there were delegations and delegates of various countries and international organizations and overseas Koreans, diplomatic envoys of different countries and staff members of foreign embassies and missions of international organizations here.

Certificates were awarded and souvenirs presented to those organizations which donated books and data on display at the fair.

A letter to the dear respected Kim Jong Un was adopted at the ceremony.

Kim Jong Suk, chairwoman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries who doubles as chairwoman of the organizing committee of the fair, made a closing address.

During the fair the delegations and delegates exchanged achievements and experience gained in scientific, technological and press fields and conducted brisk exchange of publications, she said.

The DPRK will as ever strengthen scientific and technological exchange and cooperation with various countries in the idea of independence, friendship and peace, she noted, declaring the fair close.
